Power of Minister to suspend council
438I Power of Minister to suspend council
(1) The Minister may, by order
published in the Gazette, suspend a council for a period specified in the
order if the Minister reasonably believes that the appointment of an interim
administrator is necessary to restore the proper or effective functioning of
the council.
(2) An order under this section is referred to in this Part as a
"suspension order" .
