433 Report of investigation
(1) The Departmental Chief Executive must report
to the Minister on the results of an investigation under this Division and
must send a copy of the report to the council concerned.
(2) The report may
comment on any matter that, in the Departmental Chief Executive's opinion,
warrants special mention and may contain such recommendations as the
Departmental Chief Executive considers appropriate.
(3) A report furnished to
the council under this section must be presented at the next meeting of the
council after the report is received.
(4) Section 14B of the Royal
Commissions Act 1923 applies in relation to any report that the Minister
wishes to lay before both Houses of Parliament in the same way as it applies
to a report made by a commission under that Act.
