LOCAL GOVERNMENT (AREAS) ACT 1948 - SECT 3

3 Definitions

In this Act, unless the context or subject matter otherwise indicates or requires:
"Appointed day" means the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
"Principal Act" means the Local Government Act 1919 , as amended by subsequent Acts.
"Schedule" means Schedule to this Act.
