Power of amendment

32 Power of amendment

No objection shall be taken or allowed to any information, complaint, summons, conviction, or warrant made or preferred under or by virtue of this Part for any alleged defect in substance or in form, or for any variance between it and the evidence adduced on the part of the complainant, but if any such variance or defect appears to the Local Court present at and acting in the hearing of the case, the Court may, on such terms as it thinks fit, cause the said proceedings to be amended and to adjourn the hearing of the case to some future day if necessary.
