(a)
a party to proceedings where legal aid has been granted to another party to
the same proceedings,
(b) a corporation if the Commission is of the opinion
that the legal aid granted will protect the interests of other persons who are
eligible for legal aid,
(c) a person involved in an inquiry or investigation,
being an inquiry or investigation established by or under an Act, an Imperial
Act or an Act of the Parliament of the Commonwealth or by a Minister of the
Crown for New South Wales or the Commonwealth, or
(d) a person whose
interests are, or may be, adverse to the Crown in right of New South Wales or
of the Commonwealth or a statutory body representing the Crown in right of New
South Wales or of the Commonwealth.
(2) Where the Commission grants an
application pursuant to subsection (1) (a), a solicitor employed by the
Commission shall not act for more than one party to the same proceedings if to
do so would create a conflict of interests.
