LEGAL AID COMMISSION ACT 1979 - SECT 16
Chief Executive Officer
(1) There is to be a Chief Executive Officer of the Commission.
(2) The
Chief Executive Officer is to be appointed by the Minister. The person so
appointed may be, but is not required to be, a barrister or solicitor.
(3)
The employment of the Chief Executive Officer is subject to Part 3.1 of the
Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002 , but is not subject to
Chapter 1A or 2 of that Act.
