3 Constitution of Council

(1) There is hereby constituted a corporation under the corporate name of “Library Council of New South Wales”.

(2) The Council shall have and may exercise and perform the powers, authorities, duties and functions conferred or imposed on it by or under this or any other Act.

(4) The Council shall be subject to the control and direction of the Minister in the exercise or performance of any power, authority, duty or function conferred or imposed on it under Part 3 or 4 in relation to local libraries.
