Dual pensions
9 Dual pensions
(1) A person is not entitled to receive a pension under this Act if the person
is receiving a pension under a law of the Commonwealth, or of another State or
of a Territory, which provides for the payment of a pension to a person by
reason of the person having held an office referred to in section 8 (1) (b).
(2) A person is not entitled to receive a pension under this Act in respect of
a child if a pension is being paid in respect of the child under a law of the
Commonwealth or of another State or of a Territory which makes provision for
the payment of a pension in respect of a child of the holder of an office
referred to in section 8 (1) (b) or the surviving spouse of such an office
holder.
