(1) As soon as practicable after 30 June, but on or before 31 December, in
each year, the Commission shall prepare and forward to the Minister a report
of its work and activities, including the work and activities of the Conduct
Division, for the 12 months ending on 30 June in that year.
(b) in respect of the complaints summarily
dismissed during the year, how many were dismissed in accordance with each of
the criteria referred to in section 20 (1) (a)-(h),
(c) a description, which
may include statistics, of any patterns in the nature and scope of complaints
made or disposed of during the year,
(d) any recommendations for changes in
the laws of the State, or for administrative action, that, as a result of the
exercise of the functions of the Commission or Conduct Division, the
Commission considers should be made.
(3) A report by the Commission under
this section shall not identify any person against whom a complaint has been
made under this Act, unless the person has been the subject of a public
hearing under this Act, has been the subject of a report laid before a House
of Parliament under Part 6 or has been convicted of an offence connected with
the complaint.
(4) The Minister shall lay the report or cause it to be laid
before both Houses of Parliament as soon as practicable after receiving the
report.
