Arrangement of business
159 Arrangement of business
(1) The President of the Commission is (subject
to this Act and the rules of the Commission) to direct the business of the
Commission.
(1A) Without limiting subsection (1), a direction given under
that subsection may be limited to particular proceedings (or particular
classes of proceedings) specified in the direction.
(2) Despite anything to
the contrary in this Act, if the President of the Commission is not a judicial
member, the function of allocating a matter for hearing and determination by a
judicial member as the Commission in Court Session (including constituting a
Full Bench of the Commission in Court Session) is to be exercised by the most
senior judicial member.
