INDEPENDENT PRICING AND REGULATORY TRIBUNAL ACT 1992 - SECT 5

5 Establishment of Tribunal

(1) There is established by this Act an Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of New South Wales. The Tribunal is a body corporate.

(2) The Tribunal has such functions as are conferred or imposed on it by or under this or any other Act or law.

(3) The Tribunal cannot employ any staff.

Note: Staff may be employed under Chapter 1A of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002 in the Government Service to enable the Tribunal to exercise its functions.
