INFANTS' CUSTODY AND SETTLEMENTS ACT 1899 - SECT 4
Rules
4 Rules
(1) Such rules may be made under the Supreme Court Act 1970 as from time to
time seem necessary for better carrying the provisions and objects of this Act
into effect, and for regulating the practice and procedure in the Supreme
Court and upon appeals thereto under this Act.
(1A) Subsection (1) does not
limit the rule-making powers conferred by the Supreme Court Act 1970 .
(2)
The district court judges or any four of them may make rules for regulating
the practice and procedure upon applications made under Part 1 to district
courts and for the enforcement of orders made upon such applications.
(3)
Rules may be made under the Local Court Act 2007 for regulating the practice
and procedure for applications made under Part 1 to the Local Court and for
the enforcement of orders made in relation to such applications, and for
regulating the practice and procedure for appeals to the District Court under
this Act.
