INNOVATION COUNCIL ACT 1996 - SECT 3

3 Definitions

In this Act:
"Chairperson" means the Chairperson of the Council.
"Council" means the New South Wales Innovation Council established by section 4.
"Department" means the Department of State and Regional Development.
"Deputy Chairperson" means the Deputy Chairperson of the Council.
"exercise" a function includes perform a duty.
"function" includes a power, authority or duty.
"member" means a member of the Council.
"public authority" means:

(a) any public or local authority constituted by or under an Act other than this Act, or

(b) any Department, or

(c) a person prescribed by the regulations.
