Powers of guardian
21 Powers of guardian
(1) A guardian of a minor appointed by deed or will
may take into his custody and management to the use of the minor the real and
personal estate of the minor till the age of eighteen years or any lesser time
according to the terms of the appointment of the guardian, and may bring such
actions in relation to the real and personal estate of the minor as by law a
guardian in common socage might have done, or may bring such other proceedings
as may be necessary to give effect to all or any of his powers under this
section.
(2) In this section
"minor" means a person under the age of eighteen years.
