HUMAN TISSUE ACT 1983 - SECT 21F

21F Definitions

(1) In this Part, a reference to carrying on a business of supplying semen is a reference to carrying on a business or undertaking of supplying semen to medical institutions and other persons for the purpose of using some or all of the semen for the artificial insemination of women.

(2) In this Part:
"authorisation" means an authorisation issued by the Secretary under section 21I.
"Secretary" means the Secretary of the Department of Health or a person acting in that position.
