New South Wales Consolidated ActsA person, other than a child who is under the age of 16 years, may consent in writing to the removal of blood from the person’s body for the purpose of:
(a) its transfusion to another person, or
(b) its use, or the use of any of its constituents, for other therapeutic purposes or for medical or scientific purposes, other than for the purpose of the treatment of the person from whom the blood is removed.
