Effect of consent under section 10
14 Effect of consent under section 10
(1) Except as provided by section 15, a document that purports to be a consent
given in accordance with section 10 is, where a certificate has been given in
accordance with section 11 in relation to that consent, sufficient authority
for a medical practitioner (other than the medical practitioner who gave the
certificate) to remove the regenerative tissue specified in the consent for
the purpose specified in the consent.
(2) Except as provided by section 15, a
document that purports to be a consent given in accordance with section 10 is,
where a certificate has been given in accordance with section 11A in relation
to that consent, sufficient authority for a medical practitioner (other than
either of the medical practitioners who gave the certificate) to remove the
regenerative tissue specified in the consent for the purpose specified in the
consent.
