Development of accreditation standards
46 Development of accreditation standards
(1) An accreditation standard for
a health profession may be developed by--
(a) an external accreditation entity
for the health profession; or
(b) an accreditation committee established by
the National Board established for the health profession.
(2) In developing
an accreditation standard for a health profession, an accreditation authority
must undertake wide-ranging consultation about the content of the standard.
