How complaints are dealt with [NSW[#93]
147B How complaints are dealt with [NSW[#93]
(1) If a complaint is referred
to a Committee, the Committee must investigate the complaint.
(2) A Committee
may obtain the medical, legal, financial or other advice it thinks necessary
or desirable to enable it to exercise its functions.
(3) Advice obtained by a
Committee under subsection (2) may not, unless otherwise ordered by the
Council, be admitted or used in civil proceedings before a court and a person
may not be compelled to produce the advice or to give evidence in relation to
the advice in civil proceedings.
