HEMP INDUSTRY ACT 2008 - SECT 35

35 False or misleading statements

(1) A person must not, in any official document, make a statement that the person knows, or could reasonably be expected to know:

(a) is false or misleading in a material respect, or

(b) omits material matter.

Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years, or both.

(2) In this section:
"official document" means any application under this Act or any other document that is required to be provided to the Director-General under this Act or the regulations.
