HEMP INDUSTRY ACT 2008 - SECT 13
Renewal of licence
(1) An application for the renewal of a licence may be made to the
Director-General by the holder of the licence.
(2) If an application for the
renewal of a licence is received by the Director-General no later than 28 days
before the date on which the licence is due to expire, the licence is taken to
continue in force until the application is determined by the Director-General.
(3) Subject to the regulations, an application for the renewal of a licence is
to be dealt with as if it were an initial application for a licence.
Accordingly, sections 7-9 apply in relation to an application under this
section.
(4) The Director-General is to determine an application for the
renewal of a licence: (a) by granting the application and issuing a licence to
the applicant, or
(b) by refusing the application.
(5) The Director-General
is to give the applicant in writing of the determination of the application.
