Variation, suspension and cancellation of accreditation
8 Variation, suspension and cancellation of accreditation
(1) The Director-General may at any time: (a) suspend or cancel the
accreditation of a course of study in relation to an education institution, or
(b) vary or revoke any condition to which the accreditation of a course of
study in relation to an education institution is subject, or
(c) impose
additional conditions on the accreditation of a course of study in relation to
an education institution.
(2) The Director-General may suspend or cancel the
accreditation of a course of study in relation to an education institution
only on one or more of the following grounds: (a) that the institution
requests the suspension or cancellation,
(b) that the institution no longer
exists,
(c) that the institution has contravened this Act, the regulations,
or a condition to which accreditation of the course is subject.
