Variation, suspension and cancellation of registration
6 Variation, suspension and cancellation of registration
(1) The Director-General may at any time: (a) suspend or cancel an
education institution’s registration, or
(b) vary or revoke any condition
to which an education institution’s registration is subject, or
(c) impose
additional conditions on an education institution’s registration.
(2) The
Director-General may suspend or cancel an education institution’s
registration only on one or more of the following grounds: (a) that the
institution requests the suspension or cancellation,
(b) that the institution
no longer exists,
(c) that the institution has contravened this Act, the
regulations or a condition of its registration,
(d) that there is no longer
any course of study accredited in relation to the institution under Division
2.
