What action is taken at the end of an investigation?
42 What action is taken at the end of an investigation?
(1) At the end of
the investigation of a complaint against a health organisation, the Commission
must: (a) terminate the matter, or
(b) make recommendations or comments to
the health organisation on the matter the subject of the complaint, or
(c)
refer the matter the subject of the complaint to the Director of Public
Prosecutions.
(2) If the Commission makes recommendations or comments, it
must prepare a report on the matter for the Director-General.
(3) The report
must include: (a) the reasons for its conclusions, and
(b) the reasons for
any action recommended to be taken.
