7AA Consumer information
(1) A holder of a contractor licence must, before entering into a contract
that the holder is authorised by this Act to enter, give to the other party to
the contract information, in a form approved by the Director-General, that
explains the operation of this Act and the procedure for the resolution of
disputes under the contract and for the resolution of disputes relating to
insurance. Maximum penalty: 40 penalty units in the case of a corporation and
20 penalty units in any other case.
(2) This section does not apply to
contracts of a class prescribed by the regulations.
