GOVERNMENT TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1991 - SECT 7

7 Other exemptions from vesting

(1) Any infrastructure of the telecommunications network of a Government agency is not to be vested in the Authority under this Act if the Minister is satisfied that the infrastructure is used by the agency only for very specific operational requirements and that the agency wishes to retain the infrastructure.

(2) Infrastructure used for very specific operational requirements includes (but is not limited to) infrastructure used exclusively for the supply of electricity and not for the carriage of communications.
