GOVERNMENT TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1991 - SECT 23

23 Government agencies required to use Government network

(1) A Government agency must use the Government telecommunications network (and not any other network) for the carriage of its communications if the Government telecommunications network is available to be used by the agency and is sufficient to meet the reasonable requirements of the agency.

(2) The Minister or the Authority may exempt a Government agency from the requirements of this section in any specified case or class of cases.
