(2) Except as
provided in subsection (3), this Act shall commence upon a day to be appointed
by the Governor and notified by proclamation published in the Gazette.
(3)
For the purposes only of the appointment or nomination of members of the
Geographical Names Board of New South Wales, the provisions of this Act
relating to their appointment and nomination shall commence upon the day upon
which Her Majesty's Assent to this Act is signified and those members shall
assume office upon the day appointed and notified under subsection (2).
