Costs of investigation by Director-General or Commissioner of Police to be paid by applicant
96 Costs of investigation by Director-General or Commissioner of Police to be
paid by applicant
(1) The reasonable costs incurred by the Director-General or the Commissioner
of Police in investigating and inquiring into an application for a
gaming-related licence are payable to the Authority by the applicant, unless
the Authority determines otherwise in a particular case.
(2) The Authority
may require part or full payment in advance of the amount it estimates will be
payable by the applicant and may refuse to deal with the application until the
required payment is made.
(3) Investigation and inquiry costs incurred by the
Director-General or the Commissioner of Police may include travelling expenses
within or outside the State.
(4) It is a condition of any licence granted to
the applicant that any amount payable under this section by the applicant is
paid.
