(1) The Minister may take action under this section, without prior notice to a
licensee, in order to secure compliance by a licensee with a direction given
to the licensee in accordance with the regulations.
(2) If the Minister
considers it necessary or expedient for the purposes of this section, the
Minister may, by notice, suspend a licence--
(a) until a date specified in the
notice of suspension, or
(b) if the notice so specifies--until the Minister,
being satisfied that the relevant direction has been complied with, further
notifies the licensee.
