GOVERNMENT AND RELATED EMPLOYEES APPEAL TRIBUNAL ACT 1980 - SECT 7
Senior Chairperson
(1) The Governor may appoint any qualified person to be the Senior Chairperson
of the Tribunal.
(2) A person is qualified to be appointed as the
Senior Chairperson if the person: (a) holds or has held a judicial office of
this State or of the Commonwealth, another State or a Territory, or
(b) is an
Australian lawyer of at least 7 years’ standing.
