(1A) Subsection (1) applies even
if 2 or more persons are appointed (either jointly or separately, as referred
to in section 16 (3)) guardians of the person concerned. However, if 2 or more
guardians of a person are appointed separately (each having different
functions), the guardianship order or orders concerned may appoint persons to
be the alternative guardians of the person under guardianship in respect of
those different functions.
