The Fisheries Management Act 1994 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

SCHEDULE 1 – Amendments
(Section 3)
[20] Section 106 Annual contribution to cost of research and to other industry
costs
Omit the section.
[37] Schedule 7, clause 12A
Insert after clause 12:
     12A Repeal of section 106 Any annual contribution that was payable
     under section 106, immediately before its repeal by the Fisheries
     Management Amendment Act 2006, remains payable despite the repeal of
     that section.
