FUNERAL FUNDS ACT 1979 - SECT 12

12 Application for registration to carry on contributory funeral benefit business

(1) A company may apply to the Director-General to be registered under this Act to carry on contributory funeral benefit business.

(2) An application for registration made pursuant to subsection (1) shall:

(a) be made in or to the effect of the form approved by the Director-General, and

(b) be accompanied by:

(i) a written statement showing the reasons for believing that, if registered, the company would be able to carry on contributory funeral benefit business successfully,

(ii) a copy of the rules of the company, and

(iii) such other documents as may be prescribed.
