Exclusion of liability for disclosures by means of ECM system
14L Exclusion of liability for disclosures by means of ECM system
(1) No action for defamation or breach of confidence lies against the State or
any other person by reason only of the publication, by means of the
ECM system, of information contained in that system.
(2) For the purposes of
the law relating to defamation and breach of confidence, the granting of
access to information contained in the ECM system does not constitute an
authorisation or approval of the publication of the information by the person
to whom access is granted.
