(1) Any notice or other instrument issued, made or given for the purposes of
this Act may be served--
(a) by delivering it personally to the person to whom
it is addressed,
(b) by delivering it to the place of abode or business of
the person to whom it is addressed and by leaving it there with some person
apparently of or above the age of 16 years for the person to whom it is
addressed, or
(c) by post.
(2) Any such notice or instrument addressed to a
licensee at the place last entered in the records of the Authority as the
licensee's place of abode or business shall be deemed to be properly addressed
for the purpose of section 76 of the Interpretation Act 1987 .
