Revocation or suspension of licences
31 Revocation or suspension of licences
(1) The Authority may, by notice in writing served on the holder of a licence,
revoke the licence or suspend it for such portion of its unexpired term as it
thinks fit, if the holder of the licence: (a) has committed an offence against
this Act or the regulations, or
(b) has contravened any provision of a
chemical control order relating to the chemicals or chemical wastes the
subject of the licence.
(2) Except as provided by section 34 (5), a licence
is not, nor is any condition attached to a licence, in force for the purposes
of this Act during any period for which the licence is suspended.
