53 Regulations
(1) The Governor may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, for or
with respect to any matter that by this Act is required or permitted to be
prescribed or that is necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying
out or giving effect to this Act.
(2) Without limiting subsection (1), the
regulations may make provision for or with respect to--
(a) the travelling
expenses and the compensation to be paid to persons attending or giving
evidence at an inquiry or examination referred to in section 21,
(b) the fees
or travelling or other allowances to be paid to members of a committee
established under section 10, and
(c) the custody and use of the seal of the
Corporation.
(3) A regulation may create an offence punishable by a penalty
not exceeding 20 penalty units.
(3A) The regulations may apply, adopt or
incorporate (with or without modification) any publication as in force at a
particular time or from time to time.
