EDUCATION ACT 1990 - SECT 87
Duration of accreditation
87 Duration of accreditation
(1) Accreditation has effect (subject to section 87A) for such period, not
exceeding 5 years, as is specified in the certificate of accreditation,
commencing on a date so specified.
(2) Unless the Board considers it is not
appropriate in any particular case, the period of accreditation of a
non-government school is to correspond to the period of registration of the
school.
(3) If a school becomes a member of a
system of non-government schools, the Board may require the school to be
re-accredited for a different period in order to comply with subsection (2).
