(1) The Minister may carry out an investigation into a school or the
proprietor of a school if the Minister suspects that the school may be
operating for profit or may be a non-compliant school.
(2) The Minister is to
consult with the Advisory Committee before carrying out an investigation.
(3)
The Minister may defer all or part of any financial assistance to or for the
benefit of the school during an investigation.
(4) The Minister is to
complete an investigation as soon as is reasonably practicable.
(5) The
Minister is to have regard to any advice of the Advisory Committee in relation
to the investigation.
