DENTAL TECHNICIANS REGISTRATION ACT 1975 - SECT 16

16 Inquiries in connection with section 15

(1) The board may, for the purpose of obtaining any information required by it for the purposes of section 15, require any applicant for registration or other person to appear before it for examination by the members of the board.

(2) A person who:

(a) wilfully makes a false statement, or

(b) utters or attempts to utter or put off as true before the board a false, forged or counterfeit document purporting to be an academic award or a document signifying a technical qualification,

in connection with a matter into which the board is inquiring for the purposes of section 15, is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to be imprisoned for a period not exceeding twelve months.
