When order takes effect

43 When order takes effect

(1) A prohibition order or an order varying a prohibition order takes effect 21 days after the date of service of the copy of the order on the person the subject of the order, unless an appeal against the decision is lodged with the Supreme Court within that time.
(2) If an appeal against a decision of the Local Court is lodged within 21 days after the date of service of the order, the relevant order does not take effect until the Supreme Court upholds the decision or the appeal is withdrawn.
(3) An order revoking a prohibition order takes effect as soon as it is made.
