(a) is
contravening any provision of this Act or the regulations, or
(b) is likely
to contravene such a provision, or
(c) has contravened such a provision in
circumstances that make it likely that the contravention will continue or be
repeated,
the authorised officer may issue to the person a notice requiring
the person to remedy the contravention or the matters occasioning it within
the period specified in the notice (being a reasonable period for the person
to comply with the requirements imposed by the notice).
(2) An improvement
notice must--
(a) state that the authorised officer is of the opinion referred
to in subsection (1), and
(b) state the reasons for that opinion, and
(c)
specify the provision of this Act or the regulations in respect of which that
opinion is held, and
(d) include information about obtaining a review of the
notice under this Part.
