DISTRICT COURT ACT 1973 - SECT 133 Jurisdiction in proceedings for possession of land DISTRICT COURT ACT 1973 - SECT 133 Jurisdiction in proceedings for possession of land 133 Jurisdiction in proceedings for possession of land (1) The Court shall have the same jurisdiction as the Supreme Court, and may exercise all the powers and authority of the Supreme Court, in proceedings for possession of land the value of which does not exceed $20,000, as determined by the Court. (2) Nothing in subsection (1) applies in respect of proceedings under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1899 .
