New South Wales Consolidated ActsA reference in a law of the State, other than a special law, not being a special law referred to in paragraph (f) or (g) of the definition of "Special law" in subsection (1) of section 2, to an amount of money or a percentage, rate or proportion, expressed in terms or in a manner used in connection with old currency shall, unless the context or subject matter is such that it would be inappropriate or the contrary intention appears, be construed as a reference to the equivalent amount of money, or the same percentage, rate or proportion, as the case may be, expressed in terms or in a manner used in connection with decimal currency.
