Objects of Act
3 Objects of Act
(1) The primary object of this Act is to provide for the extended supervision
and continuing detention of serious sex offenders so as to ensure the safety
and protection of the community.
(2) Another object of this Act is to
encourage serious sex offenders to undertake rehabilitation.
