Applications for orders against young registrable persons

17 Applications for orders against young registrable persons

The Commissioner of Police may not delegate the function of making an application for a prohibition order against a young registrable person, or to vary or revoke any such prohibition order, to a person other than a member of the NSW Police Force of the rank of inspector or above having responsibility for child protection matters.

Note: The Commissioner of Police may delegate his or her powers under section 31 of the Police Act 1990 .
