penalty units or imprisonment for 5 years, or both.
(1A) It is a defence to
proceedings for an offence under this section if it is established by or on
behalf of the person charged with the offence that, at the time the offence is
alleged to have occurred, the person had not received a copy of the
prohibition order and was otherwise unaware of the person's obligations under
the order.
(2) A police officer may, without a warrant, arrest a person if
the police officer suspects on reasonable grounds that the person has
committed an offence under this section.
