CRIMES (SENTENCING PROCEDURE) ACT 1999 - SECT 6
Periodic detention
(1) A court that has sentenced an offender to imprisonment for not more than 3
years may make a periodic detention order directing that the sentence be
served by way of periodic detention.
(2) This section is subject to the
provisions of Part 5.
