CHILDREN (CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS) ACT 1987 - SECT 48P
Proceedings for non-compliance with youth conduct orders
(1) On an application made in accordance with the regulations, the
Children’s Court may call on a child in respect of whom a
youth conduct order has been made to appear before it if the Court suspects
that the child may have failed to comply with the order.
(2) If the child
fails to appear, the Children’s Court may take any action referred to in
section 98 (1A) of the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999 as if the child
were an offender for the purposes of that subsection who had failed to appear.
(3) If the Children’s Court is satisfied that a child appearing before it
has failed to comply with a youth conduct order, the Court may: (a) administer
a warning to the child, or
(b) decide to take no action with respect to the
failure to comply, or
(c) vary the order, or
(d) revoke the order.
